Jamie Knox Watersports is an Irish-based watersports company offering surfing, windsurfing, foiling, and more watersports experiences, along with equipment rentals, lessons, and a retail shop. Known for its strong community presence and passion for outdoor adventure, this family owned surf school caters to locals and tourists seeking high-quality watersports services on Ireland's scenic west coast.
As the in-house designer, I’ve played a pivotal role in managing the brand’s digital and print presence. This included:
Website Management: Overseeing updates, creating a cohesive brand experience and integrating a seamless booking system for both customers and employees.
Social Media Management: Curating and running social media campaigns to boost engagement and brand visibility.
Print Projects: Designing merchandise such as t-shirts and hoodies, as well as handling written materials.
By combining creative design with strategic management, I have contributed to enhancing the company’s visual identity and customer experience.

The website was updated to a modern systematic design that helped unify all of the pages. Giving it a cohesive feel and trustworthy experience for visitors.
With so many offerings, it was imperative that the design was simple and clean, allowing ease for finding the needed information without overwhelming the viewer.

A booking system was integrated and online payments were added, making it easier for staff to book and organize.

The booking system was updated to include more activities, new pages were added with new offering. Design focus shifted to social media.

Sections were added to showcase the instructors and the team over all. New videos were implemented to showcase the cutting edge equipment and instructor knowledge.

I have managed the Jamie Knox Watersports’ Instagram presence for over two years, focusing on consistent, on-brand content that reflected the school’s personality and offerings.
Through consistent posting and a clear visual direction, the account has grown by 2,000+ followers organically, supporting brand awareness, lesson bookings, and connection with both locals and visitors, making it the most respected and largest account in the area.

Reels are created both showcasing original ideas that resonate with our audience and following the top trends. I create both my own content, contributing original images, videos, and editing while also working with local videographers and helping with captioning and creating a continuous narrative. Print Design
I’ve handled the design and production of a wide range of printed materials for Jamie Knox Watersports, from apparel to large-format signage. Alongside creating original designs, I’ve collaborated with illustrators and managed the full print workflow from digital design to print ready production.
I’ve worked closely with the screen printing team to ensure designs were production-ready and consistent across all physical brand touch-points for yearly product drops.
